Homecoming "Blast from the Past" celebrated 79 years of Catholic education in Kelowna. It offered an opportunity to celebrate and to give thanks to the many who have been and are active members of the Catholic Schools' community. The Sisters of Charity of Halifax planted the seed that we are called to water and tend. The celebration August 3, 4, & 5, 2018, included: a wine and cheese, fashion show, dance, car show and Bar-B-Q. All were invited to celebrate Mass in their home parishes. An African proverb, "return to old watering holes for more than water...friends and dreams are here to meet you." sums up the reason for a Homecoming celebration, a time to remember and to visit ! 

Three goals guided our planning: a Homecoming celebration, establishment of a Legacy Endowment Fund for Catholic Schools in Kelowna, and creation of our first Alumni Association. The successful accomplishment of these three goals is thanks to Immaculata Regional High School's willingness to support the celebration. Thank you to staff (former and present) and to former grads for your unwavering support and work. In addition to the three goals an "In Memoriam Book is  now available in which can be  inscribed the names of those who were members of the schools.  Thank you to Valleyview Funeral Home who generously created and donated the book that is now in Superintendent, Pamela Guilbault's care.
