St. Joseph Catholic School is celebrating Catholic Schools Week from January 28th to February 3rd. This year's theme is "Living, Celebrating, and Proclaiming our Faith". Students will be participating in a variety of activities throughout the week including classroom visits from Father Jojo & Deacon Ferdinand, a Christian Leadership Assembly, Tropical Day, Chili Lunch prepared by our Gr 7-9 Culinary students, winter activities, the school Bake Sale, our “Anything is Possible” theatre performance, and Student-Led Conferences.
The “Anything is Possible” performance will be held on Thursday, February 1st at 6pm at the Capitol Theatre. Operatic Soprano and Nelson resident, Rachel DeShon, is collaborating with Emmy Award Winner Tim Noah, the students of St. Joseph School and Selkirk College’s SOAR program, and an incredible band of musicians to bring this show to life.
