St. Joseph School participated in the tenth annual walkathon at Lakeside Park on May 31, to raise money and support the Kokanee Creek Nature Centre and St. Joseph School programs.
We would also like to thank our students and staff for their generous donations and the Nelson community who made pledges for our Walkathon.
Our principal, Michael Carere, the two top-selling students, and Edger the Eagle presented a cheque for $1,125 to Genna Lazier form Kokanee Creek Nature Centre.
